Timen is a free time tracker for teams and freelancers, with no plans to compare and no paid upgrades. So is WorkSnap. The choice isn’t about price — it’s about how each one handles the way you bill.
The real difference: how rates and hours are modelled
Timen is built for teams: shared workspaces, invoices and apps. WorkSnap is built for one person and goes deeper on the numbers behind an invoice. A rate set on your profile flows down to every client and project automatically, and any one of them can hold its own value without breaking the ones that still follow. Rounding rules work the same way, and a client or project can hold a monthly pool of prepaid hours that the report accounts for on its own.
There is no paid plan and there will never be one. Nothing you use today can be moved behind a payment tomorrow.

When to choose Timen
If more than one person tracks time, you want invoices in the same tool, or you track mostly on your phone, Timen is the more sensible choice.
WorkSnap is for the narrower case: one person, billing by the hour, whose rates differ by client or project, who rounds time for billing, or who sells prepaid hours each month.
