What’s new

WorkSnap is built by one person, in the open, a piece at a time. This is what’s changed recently — only the parts you’d actually notice.

New section on the webpage explaining key features.

Multi-page PDF reports keep their bearings

A Detailed report that spans several pages — any report covering more than a couple of weeks — now carries the WorkSnap logo and a page number (like "2/5") on every page, not just the first. Hand a printed or forwarded report to a client or your accountant, and it stays identifiable and easy to put back in order if the pages get separated.

Exported files are named after what's inside them

Export a report filtered to a client, a project, or billable entries only, and the downloaded file's name now says so — for example worksnap-report-acme-redesign-billable-2026-08-06_14-30.pdf. A folder full of exports for different clients sorts itself out at a glance, without opening each file to check.

Fix a mistake without leaving the report

Reviewing the Detailed report before invoicing and spotting the wrong project, a missing "$" or a typo? Click the row and correct it on the spot — description, project, billable flag and both ends of the entry, in one place. The totals recalculate as soon as you save, and if your change pushes the entry outside the range or filters you are looking at, WorkSnap tells you why the row disappeared instead of leaving you wondering.

Fix a timer you started late

A running timer now shows when it started, and you can correct that time right there — the counter and the saved entry follow immediately. No more waiting until you stop the timer to fix a start you missed by ten minutes, and no switching to manual entry for work that is still in progress.

See how much of your time was billable at a glance

The Detailed report summary now breaks rounded time into billable and non-billable, each with a percentage — so "how much of this week was actually billable" is a number you can see, not one you calculate. The table also shows 50 rows per page by default instead of 10, with 5/10/25/50/100 to choose from.

Install WorkSnap from within the app

The app now shows correctly in your browser tab and offers a proper "Install app" option from the mobile menu — with the real WorkSnap icon. It's not an app-store app, but an installable web app: a home-screen icon that opens full screen, with no browser bar, no store listing and no updates to manage.
