About WorkSnap
WorkSnap (worksnap.eu) is a time tracker for freelancers and consultants who bill by the hour. This page is the plain facts: who is behind it, what it is and where it runs. Why it exists is in the manifesto.
Who makes it
WorkSnap is built and run by Tomasz Stryczyński, a sole proprietor registered in Poland. It’s a one-person project: the same person writes the code, reviews every change and answers the email. The legal details are in the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy; how to get in touch is on the contact page.
What it is
- A timer or a manual entry, in one layout, with projects and clients.
- Billable rates, currency and rounding that a project inherits from its client and from your profile.
- Reports by client, project and date range, exported to CSV, XLSX or PDF.
- Free for one person, permanently, with no paid plan — the commitments behind that are on The Free Core.
- A web app at worksnap.eu that you can install on a phone or a computer. It isn’t in any app store.
What it isn’t
It isn’t a team tool, an invoicing tool or a way to monitor employees — no screenshots, no activity levels. The full list, in both directions, is on what WorkSnap is, and isn’t.
Where it runs
On Google Cloud, in the europe-west1 region (Belgium, EU): the application and the database. Backups are stored in the EU. Who else handles data, and why, is on what we do with your data; how accounts are protected is on Security.
Since when
Version 1.0 was released on 30 July 2026. Everything that has changed since is on What’s new.
